DIARY OF A RICH KID
Diary of A Rich Kid by Malcolm Mejin
If you have gone through a
very stressful part of your life and want something to chill and relax, but you
do not want coffee or tea, this book is the choice that you should make. I believe
if you coupled this book with your favourite drink, it would be lovely.
First, I would like to say
thank you so much to Malcolm Mejin for allowing me to review his book. It is an
honour, and it is an enjoyable one! I also would like to say I really am sorry
for taking this long to review your book. I have done reading it long ago but
had no chance to write a proper review because I was in the middle of finishing
my degree. I’m sorry! Please forgive me!
But here it is!
From the first page until
the end of it, I really enjoy the story. How I hope I could be as rich as Robin
and Charlie so that I could afford everything I want without worries. Hahaha.
I really enjoy the book. I
finished reading them in just a day. My favourite part is when they went for vacation,
and they get into accidents with sharks. That part is really fun to read; it
was funny, dangerous and super chill actually. I believe Malcolm wrote this so
that we readers can cheer ourselves up. Not forgetting some comics scene in the
book that is so fun too. Really love the drawing of Robin and Charlie, those rich
teenage kids spending their rich parents’ money. Hahaha. Thanks though for this
masterpiece, Malcolm.
After I finished this one, I
know that if I want to sit and relax, this one will accompany my “me-time”.
Even though the story was
very simple and light, I see good lessons from it too.
1. Just because you are rich, that
does not mean you have to boast about your wealth all the time.
2. Friendship can be as thick as
blood as long as you are loyal, and you trust each other.
3. Always remember where you from and
make the traditional food at your place as one of the reasons for you to unable
to forget your root! #laksasarawak
4. Even bad memories can be
something beautiful to cherish if you think of it positively. #canrelate
