Diary of A Rich Kid: Road
Trip
This is a sequel to the
first book, Diary of A Rich Kid. This time, Robin, and his parents as well as
his friends went to a road trip visiting some of tourist attraction destination
in Sarawak. They went to Bako National Park and Sarawak Cultural Village. They
also eat fresh seafood and of course Sarawak Laksa, which is Robin’s favorite as well as durian, the king of fruit!
OMG the way Malcolm describe
how tasty Sarawak Laksa (again) in this book, it makes me really curios of it
taste! Really hope that COVID-19 will be over, and we get to travel again! Not
necessarily Europe but around Malaysia is more than enough looking at how we
are living right now. *cried*.
To those who miss travelling
and currently filling up free time with books, this one is a good one to read
as it makes you feel like you are travelling again, or at least you can recall
how awesome travelling and visiting new places are.
The story is very smooth and
easy to follow with funny plot twist and good characters, like Charlie who can
be super annoying some time. 😂Even though it is very simple and light,
there are some good lessons that I have learned.
1.
Friendship means we ready to
accept who they are no matter how they act. Just like how Robin accepts Charlie
even though he realized how dramatic Charlie is.
2.
Family matters most always,
whether during good or bad time.
3.
Parents love us. It just that
some of them are not good at expressing it.
4.
Appreciate whoever around us
especially those closes to us because we do not want to feel regret losing
them.
I recommend this book to
anyone, either you are a school child or an adult, this one is a very good
read! Be ready for the funny yet panic plot twist! 😂
